mystery shoes revisted

It was a long wait, but it was totally worth it! Those shoes I was admiring (see this post) … well the entire wedding is almost exactly like what i’ve been picturing in my head as our “big picture”. Carry-over from old blog

As I’m transferring posts that I still find inspiring, I momentarily thought about not transferring this one. But then, I remembered that when I wrote this post, it had been a couple weeks since I had seen anything in the hundreds of wedding-related blogs that I follow that actually made me smile. I had been feeling a little uninspired recently (was kinda getting in a funk about it too). And then one of my best friends (in true Facebook stalker-esque style) suggested I watch this video … I did and I had the biggest , dorkiest grin on my face the entire time and the wheels in my head started clicking again. The women at 100 Layer Cake

Are. Amazing! That blog always, always, always has the best insight and inspiration. They did this post about the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs – which was on my list of possible ceremony/reception venues – and i think i fell a little more in love with it. even if we don’t end up having the wedding here, i think its definitely a honeymoon spot contender. those hammocks … the spa …. the funky/arty vibe it gives off.
