if i didn’t, I would totally go with something like this:
dress by Saja Bridal. On another interesting note: I’ve pretty much decided to rule out beach weddings, because Kevin and I are not beach people, but somehow getting married on a rock that overlooks the water doesn’t seem so bad. It actually looks quite nice. (the wheels are turning in my wedding venue-obsessed head)

that green is so awesome!!! and she has an amazingly beautiful tattoo (i like her hair too):
I know a lot of people have “wish trees” but this is by far the most creative version that I have seen
I really like the leaves as aisle markers. and for a close up on the bridesmaids:
and i’m loving the wheat bouquets.
so much inspiration here – this is the first wedding where i wish i could call the bride and talk to her. they both seem like they’d be awesome people to know.

if i was doing a super 8 film (which I REALLY wish i had the budget for), this would be the song that was playing amidst the images
and some first dance song possibilities: I like this one cause we will be getting married after Kevin gets back from Afghanistan so it sort of resonates more than any other song (one potential problem – Kevin really liked it before he left – but he may be getting tired of it now – we shall see)
and just in case the above doesn’t pan out, some other alternatives:

he was always my favorite sesame street character – these are just a little small reminder of why.
If only we could have a small slideshow before the ceremony starts – wouldn’t that be awesome? Start off the whole day with Sesame Street!
(also another reason why a practical wedding remains to be one of my favorite blogs – just because she’s married now, doesn’t mean the thoughtful discussion about love and marriage and society has to end)
